Our beginning

And love brought us to our Wedding day...

How it all began....

As most of you know we started with a blind date. Set up by my Aunt Twylla. Who'd have thought. Certainly not either of us! LOL!

The Proposal...

Jon & I went on a camping trip to Niagara Falls and New York City. Jon proposed at Niagara Falls on May 15th, 2000. It was so romantic! We were standing right at the railing looking over. We were watching a rainbow and when a second one appeared I felt a tug on my sleeve. Everyone who knows me knows I usually attract little kids so that's what I thought it was. I turned to see Jon on his knee. I think we were both in tears! Then we were both laughing because as soon as I said yes he said don't drop the ring. LOL! I have always wanted to go to NewYork so we did! I was able to ride my first subway and Metro! I finally got to climb the Statue of Liberty even!

The Wedding...

We were married on September 9th, 2000. We had a beautiful outdoor wedding. We even had it rain on us afterwards. It's supposed to bring luck. I would say it has. LOL! We also had rainbows. Couldn't get any better than that. We had a great time celebrating with all of our family and friends afterwards. We finished off the night with fireworks and everyone sitting around talking. And yes even drinking alcohol. LOL!


The Honeymoon...

We took a beautiful cruise with Carnival. We were on the Imagination ship. We invited several couples along but only Mike & Lisa could make it. We had a blast! We had a stop over in Cancun and Grand Caymen. Grand Caymen was absolutely beautiful!! The beach was stunning!


It's only gotten better over time....
